After the score was lost in 1970, it was performed again in 1999 with a recreated score.

In Concert with The London Symphony Orchestra (also cited as In Concert with The London Symphony Orchestra Conducted by Paul Mann) is a live album and DVD by the British hard rock Deep Purple, recorded on 25–26 September 1999 at the Royal Albert Hall in London with the London Symphony Orchestra, and released on 8 February 2000 on Eagle Records

first time i heard this album i was high as fuck somebody should pop him. 2 years ag. The 1969 performance was the first ever combination of rock music and a complete orchestra and paved the way for other rock/orchestra performances. The 1990s saw a CD release including the songs "Wring That Neck" and "Child in Time".

Recorded at London’s Royal Albert Hall with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Malcolm Arnold, the concert combined three Deep Purple tunes – "Hush," "Wring That Neck" and "Child in Time" – with orchestral passages. Lord once explained to an Australian audience how he came to write the concerto. I started off as a pianist. I started piano at the age of five and very quickly moved to large orchestral music. The expense of the orchestra almost bankrupted the tour and it was let go after 15 shows. But one monumental concert, released as a film and live album, was recorded on August 26, 1977 at Montreal’s Olympic Stadium.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra return with a series of brand new concerts, including a phenomenal film music extravaganza, as well as some regular favourites. These concerts feature a whole host of talented soloists. In this serie. oyal Philharmonic Orchestra presents. The Planets: An HD Odyssey. Part of the Great Exhibition Road Festival.
