The Man Who Sold the World is the third studio album by English rock artist David Bowie. It was originally released in the United States by Mercury Records on 4 November 1970, and then in April 1971 in the United Kingdom. He recorded the album with producer Tony Visconti at Trident Studios in London and Advision Studios in central London. The album's hard rock style was a departure from the largely acoustic music of Bowie's previous self-titled album

Who do you consider the most inspirational person of all time? Martin Luther King J. Nelson Mandela? There have been many great historical figures that have shaped the world down the ages, and it would be very difficult (if not impossible) to pick those whose impact on the happenings in the world was greatest. Yet, we gave it a try and compiled this post with some of most inspirational people of all time. Some of them are famous, some of them are rather unknown, but all of them have one thing in common – they changed the world.

That was the only thing I didn't like. They may have not wanted to pay the royalties, or they could have just been flat out turned down by the label owners. Anyhow, I'm a huge Bowie fan and have been for over 30 years. His passing floored the majority of music lovers, but his memory will live forever.

Here are ten famous people who changed the world by their everlasting effort and foresightedness. These people will be remembered always. In 2000 Gates and his wife formed the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, which is the largest charity in the world. One of its aims is to exempt the Third World of polio and other deadly diseases. 2. Martin Luther King Jr. Martin Luther King was a Baptist minister who campaigned against the segregation of blacks in the Southern states of the United States. He was influenced by Gandhi and believed in peaceful protest. He won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964.
